How should I care for my cookies once they arrive?

Please eat Queen City Cookies upon arrival. Ok, maybe two days. Surely you can gobble them up within two weeks? Ok, want more time? Queen City Cookies may be enjoyed for up to nine months, stored correctly. For best results, our cookies should be stored in an airtight container and placed in a cool, dry place - temperatures between 60º and 65º F are best. We find cookie tins work best. However, since we use no artificial preservatives, to fully appreciate the flavor and quality, please enjoy your cookies within 6 months of purchase. And because we use no preservatives, please remove cookies from their packaging for long-term storage.

Can I refrigerate my cookies?

Please, no. And, freezers? Too cold! It's not necessary to store Queen City Cookies in the refrigerator. For optimum taste and texture, please store in a dry place in a cookie tin. Be sure to remove our cookies from their packaging before placing in an airtight container.


What’s the best way to store schnecken?

Our schnecken lasts about two weeks...but, if you feel as if you’re out of control, and might consume the whole loaf in one sitting, we completely understand. Consider ordering two, one to eat now, and one to keep for unexpected company. No judgment here.

You have some left? Wow, you have willpower! Simply rewrap, and keep at room temperature, away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate. Schnecken will last (if it doesn’t mysteriously disappear) approximately 10 to 14 days. Please do not place in the refrigerator, as it will slowly steal the moisture from the bread. To freeze for up to 9 months, rewrap and place in two freezer bags, squeeze the air from each bag, and seal. Thaw at room temperature. Do no refreeze. To reintegrate the butter, slice, then microwave for 10 seconds. Eat. Smile. Repeat!
